How busy is Tanah Lot?
Tanah Lot, the temple on a rock in the sea, is one of Bali's most photographed places. Sunset tours make the late afternoon very busy: traffic jams on the approach road, queues at the ticket booth, and crowds along the clifftop restaurants. In the morning, it's much quieter, and the light is softer.
