How to Skip the Line at the Museo Nacional de Antropología
Buy your ticket on the official INAH site (MX$210 for foreign visitors) to skip the ticket line, and arrive at opening on a weekday. Head straight for the Mexica (Aztec) Hall and the Sun Stone before the school groups arrive. Avoid Sundays, when entry is free for many visitors and it gets packed, and remember it's closed on Mondays.

How long are the lines at the Anthropology Museum?
The ticket line can be slow on weekends, and on free Sundays the museum is extremely busy. On weekdays, large school groups visit from mid-morning. The museum is huge, so crowds gather mainly in the Mexica Hall (with the Aztec Sun Stone) and the Maya Hall.
Before you go, check how busy the Anthropology Museum is likely to be. BeatTheCrowd shows the live crowd level and an hourly forecast for any date, adjusted for Mexican holidays, school breaks and weather.
