How busy are the Pyramids of Giza?
The plateau is huge, so it rarely feels shoulder-to-shoulder, but coach tours arrive from mid-morning and the main viewpoints and the Sphinx get crowded. The bigger issue is the interior of the Great Pyramid, which has a daily cap and can sell out early in the peak winter months. The new visitor centre and its ticket machines have made the entry queues much shorter than they used to be.
