How busy is Prambanan?
Prambanan is a huge complex, so you won't usually queue to get in. The crowds gather at the central Shiva Mahadeva temple, where there can be a wait to climb inside, and around the classic viewpoints. School groups and domestic tourists pack it on weekends and holidays, especially from mid-morning.
Before you go, check how busy Prambanan is likely to be. BeatTheCrowd shows the live crowd level and an hourly forecast for any date, adjusted for Indonesian holidays, school breaks and weather.
