How to Skip the Line at Jerónimos Monastery
Book your cloister ticket online (about €18) or use the Lisboa Card to skip a ticket queue that can reach 1-2 hours in summer. Arrive at opening, Tuesday to Thursday, and avoid 11 am to 2 pm. The church is free but has its own entrance and queue, so make sure you're in the right line. It's closed on Mondays.

How long are the lines at Jerónimos?
Jerónimos is one of Lisbon's busiest monuments. In summer, the cloister queue can take one to two hours from late morning, and there's a separate (also sometimes long) line for the free church. Visitors often join the wrong one, so check the signs. Afternoon queues are often shorter.
