Kyoto Tower: Tickets, Views and Is It Worth It?

Nidec Kyoto Tower, opposite Kyoto Station, has an observation deck at 100 m with 360-degree views over the city. Tickets are about ¥900-¥1,000 for adults, and it's open about 10 am to 9 pm. It's rarely crowded except at sunset on weekends, so it's easy to fit in on arrival or before a train. Go at dusk to watch the city lights come on.
